Our Story
Praise Chapel Colusa is proud member of Praise Chapel International, a small church in Maywood, California which grew into a world-wide Family of Fellowship which numbers into the thousands of churches. Veteran Pioneering Pastors Octavio and Vera Landa were launched out in 2019, and our story began. On February 16, 2025; Octavio died suddenly, prompting his pastors and mentors Chris and Angela Madsen to come to Colusa and provide the leadership and guidance for our growing congregation.
Chris and Angela spent 36 years in Yuba City as founders and pastor of the Praise Chapel in that city. They also preside over the North Valley Leadership Association which provides a covering over ministers in Yuba, Sutter, Colusa, Glenn, Colusa and Sacramento counties. We are a Bible believing, Evangelistic, mission-minded organization, that desires every person to know the Lord Jesus in a personal and meaningful way. We are a church planting organization with a three word emphasis, Win, Build and Send. We win lost people to Christ, we build people up in their faith, and we send or release workers into the ripe harvest fields.

What We Believe
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy universal church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
